GCSE.now is an AI revision platform for UK students aged 13–16. Completely free — no subscription, no trial, no payment details required. This page explains how it works, how we protect your child, and how to get involved.
GCSE.now uses AI to mark answers, estimate grades and act as a tutor. AI can make mistakes — every feature carries a clear disclaimer, and outputs are learning aids, not official results. Your child should always check with their teacher.
We only collect what we need: name, email, and learning records. We never sell data. AI conversations are auto-deleted after 12 months. We are registered with the ICO and follow the Age Appropriate Design Code. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
A Designated Safeguarding Lead oversees safety. AI inputs and outputs are filtered for self-harm, sexual content and personal information. If your child mentions something worrying, the AI signposts them to Childline. There is a Report button on every piece of content.
You can see your child's XP, streak, study time and progress — but not their AI conversations. You can link up to four students and receive weekly email reports.
GCSE.now is completely free. No card needed, no trial, no upgrade. Every feature is available to every student.
Your child can report any content with one tap. You can raise a complaint via our Complaints Procedure, or contact our DSL directly at safeguarding@gcse.now.
